When I was a kid, I always find myself mesmerized with earthy elements, like wild little flowers along the streets and seashells on the beach. I would spend endless hours collecting beautiful and random trinklets like saga seeds, buttons, beads and dried flowers in my tiny jewelry box.
Growing up, my shopping trips would end up with unique and flair tops with colorful, beautiful embellishments, as well as pretty costume jewelry decorated with shiny trimmings and natural elements. This unique, individualistic style that I love, which I later come to realize, is what people termed as “Bohemian Style”. I recalled the first time I googled this term; It was indeed an ‘Eureka’ moment!
I love everything about Bohemian, or “Boho-style” in short. Free-spirited and devoid of being stereotyped and ‘cookie cutter’ of who we truly are, we express this deeper connection with Mother Nature, wanting to reclaim the endless freedom that life can offer. Boho-themed jewelry and hippie-style outfits became my passion. Whenever possible I would find myself donning a flowy kimono cardigan with tribal printed top or a floral dress coupled with semi-precious stone accessories. I would often find that boho style jewelry are limited in designs here in Singapore, and prices are usually steeper as compared. I thought, there must be a cheaper way to achieve the boho style without breaking the bank.
I truly believe, and TheTrendBlazer is born. With the outbreak of Covid-19, we were greatly affected as we used to be a brick and mortar business of humble origins; a small-time business (i.e. me and my supportive husband) that was born out of my love of bohemian fashion. It took us a lot of time but we have finally come up with this humble platform to help us connect with you, and hopefully, the rest of the world.
Here at TheTrendBlazer, we believe in following our hearts and passion, and being an authentic version of who we truly want to be. Our personal style is an extension of ourselves. We want to help you be different, and be daring to wear and dress the way you love yourself to be. Our curated collections of jewelry and accessories are not limited to Bohemian style. We believe everyone is a myriad of beautiful and complexed psyches and we source for beautiful, timeless trends, unique jewelry and accessories globally that can help you craft out your individuality.
